heya people! happy new year. wow...its been a long time since i have updated my blog. 1 month...but well, its been a mundane 1 month with me shuttling to and fro between work and home almost everyday, 8am-9pm...lifeless job...but oh well, i'll be stoppin work soon for some 'Pre-NS' trainin which i really really need.
anywayz, was blog surfin, and i came across a friend's blog and she did this personality test, and so i decided to give it a try....and here are the results...how evry very true...so true, it scares me..

freezing temperatures, an endless pile of backlog a10 hr workday has taken a toll on my health...im now ill...
I pray that i would be alright asap and yeah....I HAVE TO WORK ON SATURDAYS!!!!! arghhhhh

pushing and shoving on the bus, smelly stinky bods at the end of the day,
oh yeah...my work at HSBC has begun and it would be a 3 month stint at hsbc clearing backlogs...haha! so its simply rush rush rush throughout the day...
its boring though, repeating each process for each form over and over again. but, i have once again met nice people. i havent known them well enough yet so i will update upon my next post about everyone!

the irony...
throughout december, i have been serachin for jobs, picking up the Classified section of The Straits Times, scrutinizing the small fronts, going for an interview and finally listening to the "we'll call you when we need you" play by my ear again and again.
then after a looong wait....they all called together and eventually, i picked the job that was offered to me by HSBC (duh...) and yeah....so, tmr, my job starts.
no more rottin at home, no more poor days. =)

its 2007, and im here...all alone...bored, loney...
new year resolutions? none really. they dont really work out for me. all i know is that i have to make the best of out my army career on the 9th april.
and of course, improve on my cycling techniques.

Caught Happy Feet yesterday and i must say it was an adventure to uh...one of the poles? heres my review of the show.
Happy Feet is an Australian animated feature, which give viewers an insight of a penguins life. This animation was supposedly slated for a real life show. However, to train thousands of penguins aitn an easy task and after catching LOTR, the director/producer then decided to use animations.
the show makes clever use of technology to create beautifully rendered enviorments and stunning visual FX and sound FX. the avalanches created literally shook the cinema i was in. although the show is largely animated, it cleverly uses real humans as 'supporting actors'. unfortunately, the show is marred with a weak storyline and of course, the message to FISH LESS. riiiight.....
Happy Feet pales in comparison in terms of story line when compared to other animations like Toy Story and Cars where they too take a look at life from another subject's perspective. however, in terms of animation, this show rocks its socks.
so, if you are a sucker for cuuuuttteee lil furry beings and beautifual auroras, this show is for you. however, if ur a hardcore uncompassionate popcorn popper, this show aint for you...perhaps only bond could save you.
