Heyaz people! how have you guys been?
Woke up at the break of dawn, for guess wad...CYCLING! Met with the guys at ChaPtEr 2 Cycle at Amk....and guess where we went...Changi Coastal Road!
Frankly, my brain's all fried now, so, my points in this post would not be linked together....anyways...This was my longest ride. A total of 84km...to and from Changi Coastal Road...we rode to hougang, then to Old Tampines road pass Changi Jetty, Pass the Airport runway, where i was about 400m from the Airplanes and the thunderous roaring of the planes' engines awed me. Its the first time I saw a plan take off with the full sound effects and at such close proximity(other than sitting inside the plane), pass Through east coast park and then back...
As this was the first time i rode for such a long distance, my tighs burnt....and the pain was....intense i must say, especially when on upward sloping gradients of the road... luckily, some of the riders encouraged me on, talked to me on the way so i could take my mind off the pain...thanks guys...
After this ride...I really realised the power of determination and will. Which spurs me on to form the cycling club in MJC, to encourage teamwork, will power and determination within the members....
Ok....i shall take a rest now...bye people!

Meridian JC.....hmm what can I say...not as warm as TJ people? I dont know. Perhaps, its just me. In TJ, as soon as the orientation ended, the whole OG bonded like one big family. In MJ, there was still a divide between the members and the only good friend that i have there is a malay boy named Ino...
For some reason, I respect him alot. He is both hardworking and is very well mannered. His jokes and malay slang never fails to amuse me...=)
I kinda like the library in MJ too. The wide variety of books, the cool and conducive studying environment made Ino and I go there every time there was a break. The lecture halls are also nice. Perhaps its the age of the school. TJ is 28 years old while Meridian is 3! The meridian school song is nice too....
But something is missing from the school. Its just a stinking feeling i have...oh well, but i am glad that i am adapting to the new environement....
Mr Daniel Choong (Chung or wad ever) watch out, cause here comes a rising STAR!
