heyaz people! How has your JC life been so far? Have you people chosen a subject combination and PDp (cca)? Drop me a tag and tell me! I am sooo Kaypo....
Neways, i have
Choir,
guitar club and
robotics in mind...i realli do bnot know what to join and the stupid 5 day week is not helping me much either. So can anyone help me out in my decisions? Alright, heres the low-down...
Choir: SYF and some school concert comin up, long hours, but lotsa PEARLS(some system) points. There would also be an overseas trip during the Mid-year.
Guitar Club: basically playing the guitar at some performances but no competition, i think the hours are kept short and the PEARLs points is rather meagre.
Robotics: C++ programming and messing around with Micro-chip boards. I heard from my friend that there are lotsa lessons, before the actual thing (which i think would bore me to death). there are some competitions which would not clash with the P.E (promo exams) as they have promised.
Yeaps... so i am now in a dilemma...i dont know mwhich CCAs to join and they are mostly on the same day, which makes things worse...Sigh!
YEah, and in JC, there are lots of stuff that your on your own. Like you have to check notice boards for announcements and find out stuff for yourself. homework is just passed to you and you choose weather you want to do it or not... simply a far-cry from Secondary life... i guess organising myself is very important...
Yeah...i need to adapt to the long hours too.... ;)

Heyaz people! Hows life in your new JCs? Well, mine was great!
Had many activities such as team building on dry and wet terrain and a very awesome mass dance... Went to the the fountain of Wealth at Suntec to dance yesterday!! sooo cool! sooo many onlookers and people taking videos and pictures!!!
Also began my trial lectures 2 days ago... had physics, chem, C math, GP, Bio, history. Hmm..guess i would be goin for the phy chem math econ combi if not, a phy math econ computing combi would be good for me too! the lectures were rather interesting with caucasians speaking to us in the GP and history lessons.. i like them!
Auditioned for choir yesterday! In the music room they played some funny chords for me and told me to sing it out...and asked me to sing a song! Well, i sang Guilty...:Xx cant believe it man. actually i was forced into it by my friends...:Xx so yeah... might join robotics club too!
ok...i had better go back to my lessons... cya 4/2 peeps! Cheers for you new JC life!

The first 2 days at TJC (temasek)? No word can describe it better than <
>!!! People of all races, from different schools, countries and even ages! High tech facilities, rather thought provoking figures, a rock climbing wall, a large air-conditioned auditorium with state of the art sound systems
Ok, let me start with the details of <> first. Cedar, St.Nicks, TKGS, St Marg, RI, RGS,SJI, Victoria, AMK, Anderson and the list goes on and on. There is at least one person from every good school one can name. That adds the pressure and the AMK people in TJC, which includes, Edmund, Edwin, Boon Ee and me. The people there were like ‘Ang what’? in addition to the stress, perfect English surrounds me. In a day, the ‘lah, loh meh har?’ count is approximately less than 10! Oh yeah, and of course, there are many more girls than boys in this school! The girls there are the non-bitchy, non-vain types….or should I say, natural beauty. Really!
<> Nepalese, Malaysians, Thais, Indonesians, Japanese… you name it, they have got it! These are all ASEAN scholars. They were selected from their schools from the respective countries to come to Singapore to study due to their excellent results back at their homeland!
<> Ever heard of the IP program where the sec 3’s do not need to take the o levels? Well, there are a large group of sec 3’s doing that in TJC. They all learn through IT lessons… which brings me to the offer my school made to us… we can buy the fujitsu t4010 for $2899 which was originally at $4k ++ great deal!!! Must buy!!! Wahahaha there is soo much more at TJC… I cant wait to tell all you readers! But, I am too tired due to all the amazing races, mass dances and other activities… so another time folks!
Cheers!
